Watch the newsstands on August 31 when the September/October issue of Victoria magazine is launched. The focus is Romantic England, and having looked through the copy which just arrived on my doorstep, you're going to enjoy this trip to the beautiful English countryside.
Featured in this issue is the beautiful Lake District in northwest England (on my bucket list of places to go) described by William Wordsworth as "the loveliest spot that man hath ever found." Not to miss also are the articles on the legacy of Beatrix Potter, and the old world elegance of the Ritz Hotel in London.
I think you'll enjoy being carried away by the incredible photography that Victoria is known for, as well as the commentary on the villages, gardens, shops and tastes of Britain. Look here for a sneak peek.
I wonder if I will be able to get a copy over here...I haven't seen it in Australian before. I will have a look at the link you have provided.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
Thank you for the alert, Debi. Of course I'd look out for it anyway, but this makes it even more fun to anticipate!

Victoria magazine always has a gorgeous layout.
ReplyDeleteWill be very interested to read what they have about Beatrix Potter. We all know Peter Rabbit, but she also did a good many botanicals, and other lovely nature scenes. The latter I have been trying to find; even contacted the Beatrix Potter group in England to no avail.
This issue sounds like one to keep on the coffee table for a long time.
Thanks for the heads up!
