Pumpkin hunting!

It's time to pick a pumpkin!

Wow! So many to choose from--where do I start?

Big or small, orange or white?

Oh! This scarecrow looks like he could use one!

Maybe these fake leaves would help too! All these trees here in Texas still have their green leaves on them.

This is HARD work--gotta' snack,

and sit a spell.

I think I found my favorite,

a little one like me!

Yippee! From the pumpkin patch to the pizza place. Let's go celebrate.

Happy Halloween!

  1. She looks so much like Ryan in these photos.

  2. What is better than visiting a pumpkin patch with a cute little girl? Happy Halloween.

  3. Oh wow, I don't think I've ever seen that many you are aware, here in London, I'll get mine from the local supermarket :-) I don't really get that much into the whole Halloween thing though, it's not that I mind it, it's only that it doesn't really have any significance for me - I didn't grow up with it. Hope you have a great and spooky Sunday, Love from South of the River x

  4. Hi Debi~ what wonderful photo's and all those pumpkins (that's a lot of soup) Definitely a Pumpkin patch.
    Enjoy your week!

  5. Jordan looks thrilled with her pumpkin choice.
My, my, it looks like she is growing up. When they are young they do change so fast. She is adorable and looks like she is so spirited.
When my kids were young we use to take them to a local farm where they had a yearly pumpkin patch - what fun.

  6. She is so adorable. I remember those days with my kids, can't wait to have grandkids to make special memories with! xxoo :)

  7. The photographs are gorgeous, Debi, and what a darling pumpkin picker! It's no wonder that autumn is my favorite time of year.

  8. What a sweet little "pumpkin" she is! Happy November.

  9. Somehow, choosing a pumpkin is one of the most important childhood activities. How special that you captured the whole sequence here – she's just adorable, Debi, so lively and full of fun!
