Pumpkin hunting!

It's time to pick a pumpkin!

Wow! So many to choose from--where do I start?

Big or small, orange or white?

Oh! This scarecrow looks like he could use one!

Maybe these fake leaves would help too! All these trees here in Texas still have their green leaves on them.

This is HARD work--gotta' snack,

and sit a spell.

I think I found my favorite,

a little one like me!

Yippee! From the pumpkin patch to the pizza place. Let's go celebrate.

Happy Halloween!

  3. Oh wow, I don't think I've ever seen that many pumpkins...as you are aware, here in London, I'll get mine from the local supermarket :-) I don't really get that much into the whole Halloween thing though, it's not that I mind it, it's only that it doesn't really have any significance for me - I didn't grow up with it. Hope you have a great and spooky Sunday, Love from South of the River x

  5. Jordan looks thrilled with her pumpkin choice.
My, my, it looks like she is growing up. When they are young they do change so fast. She is adorable and looks like she is so spirited.
When my kids were young we use to take them to a local farm where they had a yearly pumpkin patch - what fun.

  7. The photographs are gorgeous, Debi, and what a darling pumpkin picker! It's no wonder that autumn is my favorite time of year.

  9. Somehow, choosing a pumpkin is one of the most important childhood activities. How special that you captured the whole sequence here – she's just adorable, Debi, so lively and full of fun!
