A Walk in the Park

Indulge me in a post this spring about my granddaughter, Jordan. This week, she came to spend the day with her Gigi, and after we read a few books to start the day....

I asked her if she wanted to walk to the park.

Her laugh said it all....

and her giggle confirmed it, so off we went.

We met a bunny along the way

and shared a few secrets before moving on.

Next it was time to fly a plane....

"Where are you going, Jordan?" I asked.

"To London," she told me.

All right--let's imagine it so.

  4. What beautiful pictures of a beautiful girl! I am so glad that you have been having such a lovely time with Jordan. I bet she just loves having you around too!

Thanks for your comment about my two boys, Debi. They are already sick of their casts and we still have 5 weeks left! Thank goodness Easter is this weekend-maybe some chocolate eggs will take their mind off their injuries for a while!

I hope that you and your family have a very Happy Easter.

    Best wishes,
    Natasha.

  5. Every time I read where you write "Gigi" I feel so happy that we both have the same grandma name. We are kindred spirits!

Oh, and of course, Jordon is SO CUTE!

  6. Debi, Jordan is just precious!

The first image of her instantly brought to mind Fragonard's painting "A Young Girl Reading". That has been one of my favorite paintings since I was but a young girl.

My granddaughter is one of my greatest joys in life and I can see that Jordan is one of yours.

    Savour every moment as Gigi.

    Blessings,
